1945 WILLYS-OVERLAND 1/4 TON TRUCK MB "Jeep" Perhaps the most famous US Army vehicle of WWII is the 1/4 ton 4 x 4 truck. It was nicknamed the "Jeep" after the early Minneapolis-Moline prime movers of the late 30's.
